"Travel" was performed at Oogimachi Museum Square in Osaka Japan in the summer of 1998 by Alan Nakagawa While live sound consisting of guitar, synthesizer, and a barage of found sound, recordings of poet Alicia Vogl Saenz were pumped through the house system. During this work, the audience were invited to look through 100 slide viewfinders. These images were taken by Nakagawa of his neighborhood in the Los Angeles community of Pico and Crenshaw.
