In 2001, Collage Ensemble Inc. received funding from the California Arts Council and LA Cultural Affairs to produce a CD celebrating their community outreach project and the collectives 16th Anniversary.The CD Release party for "Suite Sixteen" took place at artists Steve Irvin's studio at the Santa Fe Arts Colony in Downtown LA.

Collage Ensemble performed three multi-media works which included a dance work on a multi-level stairway, a rope climbing ritual and a duet between a Tupperware salesperson and a trio of juice blenders. The evening was DJ'd by Michael Whitmore and Steve Roden.
