The collective was invited to create an installation in a group exhbit featuring artists who have worked on project about Los Angeles. Curated by Rebecca McGrew, the exhibit was at the Montgomery Gallery at Pomona Colleges (1998)
In 1996, the collective featuring Steven M. Irvin and Alan Nakagawa submitted and was accepted to a series of storefornt installation in Downtown LA by FAR. Curated by Monica Chau, Collage was inspired by the Mayan prediction that the next to rule the earth will be ants.
In the summer of 2002, the members of the collective impersonated survey collectors in and around LA and asked people what constituted historical sites in the City. The data inspired artworks and an installation at the Hollywood Branch Library.
In 2000, partially to celebrate the collectives 16th Anniversary, Tokion Magazine collaborated with the group to put up four billboards around Los Angeles. The billboards featured the collectives new web site which they worked with On Ramp with.

In 2007 Collage Ensemble Inc. collaborated with EZTV to present a collection of videobased performance entitled Fingered Seven at Highways In Santa Monica CA
