After the Northridge Earthquake in 1993, we started working on a forty minute performance piece titled Body Seance. The concept behind this four part work was that the essence of LA was it's marine desert soul and earthquakes were its exercise to remind us once in a while. We performed this for the 1993 LA Festival, at Los Angeles Contemporary Exhbitions, in 1994 in Osaka Japan (one month after the Kobe earthquake), and in 1998 in Mexico City.
