Nakagawa is asked to create a sound project for the three day opening event for the Brod Contemporary Art Museum at LACMA in 2008. Among the guests are Steve Roden, Steven M Irvin, Mona Kasra, Joseph Hammer and the Mary Tyler Smores. Nakagawa also performs a piece using a recorded interview with Barry McGee about the collaboration with Margaret Kilgaren in the LACMA parking structure, which was demolished to make way for the new museum.
